Well, here I am

Bienvenue a Montreal! I arrived yesterday just in time to set up the Folk Alley booth at Strictly Mundial Folk Alliance Conference in centre ville at the Palais de Congress and when I logged on today, David Francey was playing (which seemed only fitting).

We (Jim, me, and Abbe) will be here through Sunday spreading the word about Folk Alley to the folk music community. It’s pretty crazy, folkies everywhere, playing music, listening to music and talking about music.

And it’s really cold and they don’t salt the sidewalks so much, but Montreal is beautiful and there’s so much to do here. I think I saw Emmylou Harris in the hotel lobby, but I’m not sure. More from Jim about the showcases (and photos) later.
