Video Premiere: Louise Bichan’s “Greenwood Sidie-o” ft. Kris Drever
Louise Bichan is US-based Scottish musician and photographer uses all of her artistic arms to tell stories old and new. Folk Alley is thrilled to present the video premiere of Bichan’s interpretation of the classic “Greenwood Sidie-o.”
The third single from her record, “Binnorie,” releasing the October 30 on Adhyâropa Records, “Greenwood Sidie-o” is a perfect October song. From Bichan: “This old Scottish murder ballad features two of my favourite Scottish singers, a lush string arrangement I wrote with Katie McNally, and an animation I had a lot of fun putting together to tell the story.”
