Liv Greene, “Deep Feeler”

The title track from Liv Greene’s second album Deep Feeler (out October 18) sees Greene leaning in. The songs on the album, according to Greene, “are a healing or reframing of my relationship with the craft. Now, rather than an escape from myself, songwriting is communion with myself.”

Maya de Vitry, “Odds of Getting Even”

Co-written by de Vitry and Caitlin Canty, “Odds of Getting Even” has been recorded on Canty’s Quiet Flame (’23) and on Della Mae’s Headlight (’20). “I really wanted to do this one justice,” de Vitry says, “for this song to feel as alive and exuberant as I think it wants to be – and I just honestly couldn’t find that in myself for a while. But this finally felt like the perfect band and moment in my own life for me to sing this one.” Her upcoming album, The Only Moment is out July 12.

Willie Watson, “Real Love”

Willie Watson’s first-ever solo album of original material – over 20 years into his career – comes out on September 13. “‘Real Love’ is a love song I wrote for my wife,” explains Watson. “It kinda turned out to be the story of my life and it’s clear now that she’s standing in the center of everything. We’ve been looking for each other for a long time and now we can’t even remember all the struggle it took to get here.”

Justin Townes Earle, “Dreams”

Justin Townes Earle ALL IN: Unreleased & Rarities, out August 9, features 12 previously unreleased recordings and 6 never-before-heard songs written and recorded during Justin’s final years. Included in the posthumous collection is a cover of Fleetwood Mac‘s “Dreams.”
