Amythyst Kiah, “I Will Not Go Down” (featuring Billy Strings)

Amethyst Kiah’s genre defying album Still + Bright is released today including the epic track “I Will Not Go Down.” The track features Billy Strings and his fierce guitar playing. According to Kiah, “From Avatar: The Last Airbender to Lord of the Rings to Mass Effect, I’ve always loved a great hero’s journey.  The hero always rides into the unknown to seek answers and destroy a larger beast. These stories emphasize the importance of reflection, resilience, and restraint. Sometimes we have to ride into the unknown to seek these answers and see what we’re truly made of, without stopping to think that perhaps the beast that we are slaying, is in fact ourselves.”

The NC Music Love Army, “This Land is Your Land”

A North Carolina music collective: The NC Music Love Army organized a star-studded version of “This Land is Your Land” to help drive people to early voting in North Carolina. Lineup include: MC Taylor (Hiss Golden Messenger), Charly Lowry, Skylar Gudasz, Django Haskins (Old Ceremony), Brett Harris, Jasme Kelly, Catilin Cary, Laurelyn Dossett and more.

Katie Gavin, “Inconsolable”

Katie Gavin, lead singer for the queer indie-pop band Muna, released her new solo album What a Relief today. The record includes the pleasantly surprising roots-infused track “Inconsolable.”

Jordan Tice, Andrew Marlin, Christian Sedelmyer, “When I Was A Cowboy”
