Folk Alley Radio Show #211007

Singer/songwriter/storyteller/ and mentor John Prine would’ve turned 75 on October 10th this year. This week, in hour one of Folk Alley, we celebrate the life and music of John Prine with his songs and more performances by many who regarded him as their musical hero.

In hour two, it’s time to kick off the spooky season with music for Halloween; plus, new music from Dar Williams, Robin & Linda Williams, Queen Esther, Dustbowl Revival, and Billy Stings, who recently won the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA). Guitar Player and Entertainer of the Year Award; we’ll hear from the recent inductee into the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame; and much more!
