Folk Alley Celebrates: Ten Songs for Earth Day

Every year on April 22nd, people around the world come together to celebrate Earth Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about environmental issues and promoting sustainability. As we continue to honor the legacy of the first Earth Day in 1970, Folk Alley is proud to join the global community in honoring our planet and the natural world that inspires us all.

Since its inception in 1970, Earth Day has grown into a global movement, with millions of people taking part in events, marches, and initiatives to protect our environment. (How are YOU celebrating this year??) At Folk Alley, we believe in the power of music to inspire change, which is why we’ve curated a special list of 10 songs that reflect the spirit of environmentalism and celebrate the beauty of our planet.

As a service of the nonprofit FreshGrass Foundation, Folk Alley is committed to sustainability and green practices. We strive to reduce our environmental impact in everything we do, from our streaming services to our events and festivals. By supporting Folk Alley, you’re supporting a greener, more sustainable future for music and the arts.

This Earth Day, we invite you to enjoy these songs and reflect on the beauty of our planet. Whether you’re listening to music in your backyard, on a hike, or at a local Earth Day event, let these songs inspire you to take action and make a difference.

And as you celebrate Earth Day, we’d love to hear from you. What are your favorite songs that celebrate the Earth? Share them with us on social media using #EarthDaySongs and let’s inspire each other to protect our planet for future generations.
