Everly Brothers Join “Old Friends” Tour

When Simon & Garfunkel kicked off their “Old Friends” tour last Fri. in Wilkes Barre, PA, they invited the Everly Brothers on stage for a few songs. Harmony heros for S&G, the Everlys sang three of their hits before bringing Simon and Garfunkel back for an “all-star” rendition of Bye Bye Love. The Everly Brothers are now slated to join the remainder of the tour, which is scheduled to end on Dec. 21 in Tampa, as “special guests.” The “Old Friends” tour continues this week with stops in Cleveland (10/20), Columbus (10/22), and Chicago (10/24&25).
