Damien Rice Takes Home Shortlist Prize

Irish singer/songwriter Damien Rice is winner of the 3rd Annual Shortlist Award for his album O. The Shortlist Music Project was developed by industry professionals Greg Spotts and Tom Sarig to recognized outstanding albums that have sold less than 500,000 copies. Rice was joined by 9 other finalists that include The Black Keys and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, winnowed from a list of 85, nominated and voted on by a stellar panel of musicians, producers, and journalists.
