Calling All Educators! World Music Education Courses
This summer, Smithsonian Folkways is offering several week-long certificate courses for all levels of educators who seek to teach and facilitate an understanding of music across world cultures. Hundreds of musicians and teachers have participated in our intensive World Music Pedagogy course, now in its tenth year, to learn about diverse musical traditions and how to teach them.
The 2018 courses will take place in the following locations:
· Morgantown, WV (June 18-22)
· Seattle, WA (June 25-29)
· St. Paul, MN (July 2-6)
· Bloomington, IN (July 16-20)
