Radio Jarocho are a group of Mexican-Americans from New York City that perform son jarocho music, the rowdy, upbeat, and at times melancholic music of the countryside of Veracruz, Mexico. They’ve been mixing it with the sounds of New York’s urban life for over ten years. Having recently joined forces with son jarocho legend Zenen Zeferino from Veracuz, they now perform as an ensemble delivering performances that are passionate, energetic, and true to the roots of the genre.

Their latest release is, Rios de Norte y Sur (Rivers from North and South).

RADIO JAROCHO:
Julia del Palacio – Dance, Vocals
Juan Carlos Marin – Requinto, Vocals
Victor Murillo – Bass
With Zenen Zeferino Huervo – Juarana, Vocals
